No mercy petition of Indian prisoner Sarabjit Singh is pending with Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf, says presidential spokesperson Major Gen (retd) Rashid Qureshi.
A recent report had quoted former Pakistan minister Ansar Burney as having submitted a fresh mercy plea to the Pakistani President, seeking Sarabjit's release or commuting of his death sentence.
