US President Barack Obama took his daughters for a Hawaiian treat of shave ice and ordered a flavour combination that is named for himself.
Obama and a posse of about 20 people took a motorcade yesterday to the same shave ice stand he has visited during other trips. As in past trips, he asked for a pile of ice shavings flavoured with lemon-lime, cherry and passion-guava syrups. The store calls the combo "Snowbama".

Obama wore a white T-shirt, khaki shorts and sandals.
About 100 people packed into a shopping centre parking lot to catch a glimpse of the vacationing president and his girls.
The store -- Island Snow -- said on its Facebook page that the first daughters already had visited the store during this vacation.
