The police have recovered a handwritten note from the spot, however, they have not ruled out the possibility of foul play.

According to police, a passerby saw the bodies of couple behind the school and subsequently informed the police.

The couple has been identified as Krishna Chouhan (30) and Jaya Chouhan (28). The duo was living at a rented house in Shankaracharya Nagar.

Police said that Jaya was working as teacher at a private school in Bhanpur locality, while Krishna was a labourer.

Town inspector (TI) of Chhola Mandir police station, HC Ladiya said, “Veins of couple are slit. Two blades have also been recovered from the spot. It seems that both have committed suicide by slitting their veins.”

He added that a handwritten note was also recovered from the spot, which seems to have been written by Jaya Chouhan.

“In the note, she has mentioned that the couple were frustrated with their lives and therefore they decided to commit suicide,” said Ladiya. He, however, did not rule out the possibility of foul play. Nobody has come forward to claim couple’s bodies so far, he added.
