Taking a cue from the protest in Kochi (Kerala) and New Delhi, a group of students from various colleges in Bhopal came together on Thursday to start a 'Kiss of love' campaign.
A meeting was organised at Chinar Park to fine-tune the modalities of the campaign. It was decided in the meeting that a demonstration like the one witnessed on Kochi and Delhi will be held at Shahpura Lake in Bhopal on Sunday.
Students from Gandhi Medical College, Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, Bhopal School of Social Sciences (BSSS), Jagran Lakecity University and some other colleges participated in the meeting.
"Around 15-20 students from various colleges participated in the meeting held on Thursday and shared their views on the issue. The participants freely expressed their views against moral policing and freedom of expression," said Mohsin Khan, one of the organisers of the campaign.
He said their fight was not only against moral policing but also for LGBT community. They are still deprived of their rights, said Mohsin.
Ankita Dwivedi, another participant, said the campaign is not about kissing someone in public but is about all forms of expression. "Many of us face moral policing in our lives. Being a girl, I am in full support of this campaign and hope many other youngsters will also support it," she said.

{{/usCountry}}Prerna Ketwas of BSSS College said, "We are seen suspiciously even if we go out with our brother. Such is the narrow mindedness of the society. I don't like people telling me what to wear. This is the reason why I am supporting this campaign".
