‘Mukherjee sacrificed life for India’ : Shivraj Singh Chouhan

The CM said Mukherjee was one of the rarest nationalist thinkers who sacrificed his life for the integrity of India.

His parliamentary knowledge was unique. He was included in the first cabinet of Jawaharlal Nehru.

He stepped down with honour and developed the country on the basis of Indian ideology. Kashmir was an integral part of India because of Mukherjee, Chouhan said.

State office in-charge Govind Arya, state spokesperson Rameshwar Sharma, state media in-
charge Hitesh Vajpai, district president Alok Sharma, slums cell convener Chetan Singh, MLA Dhruvnarayan Singh, BDA chairperson Surendranath Singh, mayor Krishna Gaur, mandal presidents, general secretaries and party activists were present on the occasion.

Mukherjee’s death anniversary was also observed in Sehore, where a blood donation camp was organised under the auspices of Bharatiya Janta Yuva Morcha, led by its district president Prince Rathore.

A symposium on ideology of Dr Mukherjee was also organised at the party office.

Hoshangabad BJP unit organised a symposium at district office where divisional organisation secretary Jitendra Litauria, MLA Girijashankar Sharma, Maya Narolia, Anil Bundela and others were present.

Blood donation camps and symposiums were also organised at Sagar, Panna, Tikamgarh, Gwalior, Morena, Datia, Sheopur, Bhind, Guna, Ujjain, Neemuch, Dhar, Jhabua, Khandwa, Rewa, Satna, Sidhi, Umaria, Singrauli, Jabalpur, Seoni , Katni , Balaghat , Chhindwara and other districts.
