Rains and high velocity winds in Madhya Pradesh led to a massive fall in the day and night temperature.
The city witnessed its second lowest night temperature in April over the past five years on Sunday.
The night temperature of Bhopal on Sunday fell to 18.2 degree Celsius which is four degree less than the normal temperature.
In April 2013, the minimum temperature fell to 17 degree Celsius.
The massive fall in the day temperature was also witnessed in almost all the major cities of the state.
Bhopal experienced a fall of five degree Celsius in maximum temperature on Monday. The maximum temperature fell to 25.8 degree Celsius from 30.8 degree Celsius, which was 12 degree less than normal temperature.
According to experts, the maximum temperature in this month never decreased to 25.8 degree Celsius in past one decade.
The state capital on Monday also witnessed brief spells of light to moderate rains almost the entire Sunday night.
The city recorded rainfall of 0.9 mm. Cloudy conditions and light rain are expected in the next 24 hours, the regional meteorological department said.

{{/usCountry}}Khargone recorded the highest rainfall in the state with 21.9 mm, followed by Ujjain (20.0 mm), Seoni (19.2 mm) and Khajuraho (18.3 mm). Major cities of the state also witnessed moderate rainfall with Indore recording 5.6 mm rain, Gwalior 3.8 mm and Jabalpur 5.6 mm.
