Aanand L Rai doesn’t have a story for Tanu Weds Manu 3 right now

Aanand L Rai says he is done with the problems of the characters Tanu and Manu and there isn’t a Tanu Weds Manu 3 on the cards. He will think of it if he finds a story.

Filmmaker Aanand L Rai says that he doesn’t have any story for the third part right now. His Tanu Weds Manu series is a highly successful franchise of Bollywood in recent times.

Aanand L Rai hopes that he might discover the third part of Tanu Weds Manu 2 but as of now, he doesn’t have a story.

“Right now, honestly, I don’t have a story... After Tanu Weds Manu, I moved on to Raanjhanaa. People thought I would make the second part exactly after part one but I had my journey through Raanjhanaa and now again I am moving on with other stuff,” said Rai.

The filmmaker hopes that he might discover the third part of the film in “this journey”. “Let’s see... In this journey I might discover part three. Right now there is no story with me,” he added.

The Tanu Weds Manu franchise features R Madhavan, Kangana Ranaut, Jimmy Shergill, Swara Bhaskar Deepak Dobriyal and Eijaz Khan.

“We have already established that Jassi is impotent. Like let’s not take the story any further. It’s embarrassing. It is getting into awkward places... I think it should be the end of Jassi (Eijaz’s character in the films) and Payal’s story,” she added.

As of now, Swara and Rai are currently busy promoting the forthcoming film Nil Battey Sannata, which is slated to release on Friday.
