Not long ago, it was believed that two Bollywood actresses can never be friends. But, over the years, this perception has been challenged by several Bollywood stars. The most recent example is that of Amy Jackson and Athiya Shetty.

An insider reveals that the two actresses share a good rapport, and often bond over films and fashion. “They are comfortable in each other’s company. They give each other fashion tips, discuss movies, and also talk about the performances that have impressed them,” says the source.

Athiya and Amy have been in touch ever since they first met. “The promotions for Amy’s film, Singh Is Bliing (2015), had just begun at that time, and Athiya was just wrapping up the promotions for Hero (2015). In fact, since the two hadn’t met each other for a while, they had dinner together recently,” adds the source. We tried reaching Athiya, but she remained unavailable for a comment. However, Amy’s spokesperson confirmed the news, and said, “Amy and Athiya are great friends.”
