Amy Jackson can’t keep up with Nawazuddin, hires Hindi tutor

The actor has hired a tutor to hone her Hindi-speaking skills, as she has to deliver several dialogues in the language in her next film with Nawazuddin Siddiqui and director Sohail Khan.

British model-actor Amy Jackson has done two Bollywood films so far — Ekk Deewana Tha (2012) and Singh Is Bliing (2015). While the actor didn’t have too many Hindi dialogues in both these movies, her upcoming film, reportedly titled Ali, which also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui, is slightly different. The film, directed by Sohail Khan, will require Amy to mouth dialogues in Hindi. Therefore, she has now hired a tutor to hone her Hindi-speaking skills.

A source close to Amy said, “She has hired a tutor from Delhi to help her improve her command over the language. The trainer apparently stays with the actor on the sets of the film, and helps her with her Hindi.” According to the source, Amy has also been trying to interact with Nawaz, and Sohail Khan, in Hindi.

When contacted, the actor confirmed the news, and said, “I was really excited about learning Hindi. Picking up the language has been quite a lot of fun. It is also a bit difficult, but everyone on the sets has been helping me.”
