Actor Anushka Sharma apparently has been signed for the Veer-Zaara (2004) sequel. The movie, apart from Shahrukh Khan, who was the main lead in the first part, also features Katrina Kaif.
The first part of the film was set against the backdrop of conflict between India and Pakistan. Anushka, who made her debut with Aditya Chopra’s Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, will be seen playing Rani Mukherjee’s character of a Pakistani lawyer, Saamiya Siddiqui.
