Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor’s Befikre, the directorial comeback of Aditya Chopra, earned Rs 34.36 crore over the weekend at the domestic box office.
After a decent opening of Rs 10.36 crore on Friday, the film’s earnings soared on Saturday and Sunday and collected Rs 11.60 crore and Rs 12. 40 crore respectively.
Befikre released on 2100 screens in the domestic market.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted the figures Monday afternoon.
Made on an estimated budget of Rs 70 crore, Befikre is about two carefree youngsters, played by Ranveer and Vaani, who meet in Paris and start dating each other.
