Hollywood might be best when it comes to making superhero films, but WWE wrestler-turned-actor Nathan Jones avers that Indian films are far ahead in morality. The 49-year-old actor who will make his Bollywood debut with A Flying Jatt, feels that Hollywood needs to work on more moralistic storylines.
“This (A Flying Jatt) film has a strong moral centre. This is what Hollywood lacks. Some of the things shown there confuse young people. This (film) is nice, it shows responsibility and make sure to keep young people on the correct path,” says Nathan.

“They need to look at Bollywood and think we are doing it wrong. One minute they have a good message and the next they have a dark message where they are saying it’s all right to be degenerate,” he adds.
For Nathan, the language barrier was a challenge, he says: “They wanted me to say the dialogues in Hindi. We got around it. They had someone come in and coach me. They told me what I was saying in English, so I could interpret it. What I didn’t get right the first time, I fixed after practising. It was important that the kids can understand me.”
Nathan praised Bollywood for its work culture. “It was very professional,” he says, “the director (Remo D’Souza) is very kind and listens to everyone. He didn’t get angry. Some directors can be like that.”
Nathan was also impressed with co-actor Tiger Shroff’s ability to do action scenes. “When I was shooting for Troy (2004), with Brad Pitt, they had to use a stunt double. He hurt his ankle and wasn’t so agile. But Tiger is really fit. He could do everything. He didn’t need a stunt double. Plus he didn’t mind getting a bruise,” he says.
