The 71st edition of Cannes Film Festival witnessed Bollywood fashion diva Sonam Kapoor’s dazzle and Pakistani actor Mahira Khan’s charm and grace on the eighth day of the festival.

Sonam, who recently tied the knot with long-time boyfriend Anand Ahuja, made her second red carpet appearance in a Vera Wang nude gown on Tuesday. As Sonam walked along, the long train of her dress - in beige and yellow - followed gracefully. She matched the off-shoulder gown with a gold eye shadow and Chopard jewels.

Earlier in the day, Sonam sparkled in a white shirt and blue denims. She was also seen dressed in crisp white and red:

Mahira Khan, who walked the red carpet on Monday, continued to enjoy her time in French Riviera, shared several pictures. She wore her ‘favourite’ Nicolas Jebran during a night shoot on the Croisette.

Bollywood stars Aishwarya Ri Bachchaan, Kangana Ranaut and Huma Qureshi walked the Cannes red carpet over the past few days. While Aishwarya represented Loreal at the film festival, Kangana and Huma were in attendance on behalf of a liquor brand.

Actors Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Manoj Bajpayee, Divya Dutta, Rasika Duggal and filmmaker Nandita Das are also attending the festial. Nawazuddin, Rasika and Nandita attended the world premiere of their film Manto, which is competing in the UnCertain Regard section, and also unveiled the first trailer of the movie based on rebel writer Sadat Hasan Manto.

Manoj, on the other hand, revealed the first look of his upcoming film, Bhonsle. The story unfolds during Maharashtra’s most important festival, Ganpathi Puja – in a span of 10 days. “There is festivity all around, people are in a joyous mood, but Ganpath Bhonsle pushed into retirement, is angry and unhappy. He does not want to hang up his uniform and go back to his lonely life in a slum that is his home. But into this dreariness walks a young girl (Ipsita Charavarthy). Bhosle is all about this undefined, unlikely relationship between the two”, Bajpayee told HT.
