Ananya Pandey, who many believe will make her film debut in Karan Johar-produced Student of the Year 2, graced the pages of Variety in a spread featuring stars of the future. The feature also included Ananya’s cousin, Ahaan Panday, and Reese Witherspoon’s daughter, Ava Phillippe.
The 19-year-old was a part of the annual Bal des Debutantes, whose 25th edition took place in Paris last November. Maharaja Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur’s former royal family and his sister, Princess Gauravi Kumari were also a part of the Ball.
The aspiring star took part in a two-day photoshoot for the spread. A source told Mid-Day, “It was exciting for Ananya as she hung out with the glittering European and English royalty, for over two days for the event and magazine shoot. She wore the same blue-and-black Jean Paul Gaultier gown that she had worn at Le Bal, for the photo shoot too.”

Talking about Ananya’s aspiring to become a film star, Chunky earlier told HT, “Ananya finished her studies, and a couple of months back, she did tell me that she wants to get into films. Nowadays, you cannot tell your kids what to do. In fact, you have to listen to them. As a parent, give them great education and values and they will decide what to do in life. I would like to tell her that it’s important that you don’t imitate anyone else’s success story. You have to make your own story, and I would love to be known as Ananya Panday’s father.”
