Exes Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor were spotted bonding over Ranveer Singh’s Simmba song. See pics, video.

Actors Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor were spotted at the shoot of a show, greeting each other cordially. The former couple recently reunited for an ad shoot for a paint brand, and has maintained that they are on good terms. They broke up several years ago, and Deepika is now married to Ranveer Singh, while Ranbir is dating Alia Bhatt.

Pictures of their meeting show the actors briefly hugging each other outside a building. Deepika can be seen giving Ranbir a kiss on the cheek. A clean-shaven Ranbir was wearing a sweatshirt and jeans, while Deepika wore a pale dress.

Another video of the former couple, from the sets of a TV show sponsored by the same brand they endorse, was shared online. The video shows them on a stage with filmmaker Karan Johar, and hosts Maniesh Paul and Bharti Singh, singing ‘happy birthday’ for Karan’s mother, Hiroo Johar, who celebrated her birthday on Monday.

Another video showed them pumping up the audience, and dancing to Ranveer’s Simmba song, Aankh Maare.

Ranveer in an earlier interview said that he has no reason to feel insecure about Deepika’s equation with Ranbir. “Do I seem like an insecure person, really? I am not an insecure type at all. I am extremely secure in who I am and what I am. I know that nobody can love her the way I do, so it’s cool,” he said at the India Today Conclave 2019.

Since their breakup several years ago, Ranbir and Deepika have reunited on several occasions - they acted together in Imtiaz Ali’s Tamaasha, and walked the ramp for designer Manish Malhotra. They even appeared in an internet-breaking image posted by Karan.
