Bollywood actor Esha Deol and husband Bharat Takhtani welcomed their baby girl on Sunday and the cute little bundle of joy has already made her first public appearance. The newborn baby was snapped with her parents outside the Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai where she was born. She happily snuggled in the arms of her daddy Bharat who posed with Esha for the shutterbugs.
Earlier, Bharat had told Times of India that he believes their daughter resembles him. “I can’t even express how happy I am today. I think the baby looks like me, when she smiles it seems the world smiles at you. This is a different feeling, which cannot be expressed in words,” Bharat said in the report. While Esha and Bharat have decided on a name for the baby, they will reveal it only on the day of naming ceremony.
This is Esha and Bharat’s first child. The duo tied the knot in 2012. Esha’s mom, actor and politician Hema Malini became grandmother for the second time -- her younger daughter Ahaana welcomed her son, Darien, two years ago. Speaking to media earlier this month, Hema had said that she wished that Esha and Bharat became parents to a daughter. “My elder daughter Esha is expecting her first child this month. Do I want a grandson or a granddaughter? Dono chalega. But since I already have a grandson (younger daughter Ahana’s child) a granddaughter would be nice. Would I want her to be an actress like me? She can be anything she wants as long as she is happy in life,” she had said while answering questions from media.
