Actor Purab Kohli’s daughter Inaya with fiancée Lucy is 10-month-old and the actor says that fatherhood has taken him into a blissful space in his life now.
“I think fatherhood is amazing. Especially when you have a daughter and I would wish that upon everybody. I think you stop living for yourself when you have a child. You are not the centre of universe anymore. In a strange way it changes all your decisions, what you think about work and life and everything around you,” says Kohli, who met Lucy through his sister in London.
The couple postponed their marriage when they got to know about Lucy’s pregnancy and plan to get married next year.
The actor, who has been part of films such as Rock On!! (2008), Shaadi Ke Side Affects (2014) and Airlift (2016) confesses that he didn’t understand the sentiment of parenthood earlier.
“I remember one of my friends once told me that ‘I should have a child because it makes you start living for someone else’. I did not understand the emotion at that time but now I know what he meant,” says Kohli.
