Housefull gets reincarnated, Sajid Khan returns as director

Housefull 4 will release on Diwali 2019.The cast is yet to be announced.

There are certain gifts that God – or, in this case – Sajid Nadiadwala keeps on giving. Housefull, the franchise which is heading for its fourth iteration, is one such gift. On Friday, his production company, Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment announced that Housefull 4 will land on a screen near you on Diwali 2019. The film will have Sajid Khan – who directed Housefull and Housefull 2 – in the director’s chair.

Housefull 3, which released in 2016, was one of the biggest hits of the year. To add buzz to the subject matter this time, the theme of the film is reincarnation.

Nadiadwala confirmed, “Housefull is franchise of fun and 4th will be the biggest Housefull that we have made till now. I am happy to be back with Sajid Khan who directed the first two parts of the film. We have a funny thematic twist in the fourth part as the plot is that of reincarnation. We have big production plans for the movie and that’s why we think that we would need all this time to make it the event film of 2019.”

The film has starred Akshay Kumar, Ritiesh Deshmukh, Chunkey Pandey and Boman Irani in almost all the films. The cast of Housefull 4 is yet to be announced.
