Known for his carefree attitude, actor Randeep Hooda seems to have taken his bad boy image from his latest flick Murder 3 quite seriously.

“Randeep is like an 11-year-old adorable guy. He has a brilliant sense of humour and is very good at heart,” said Aditi, to which Randeep quickly retorted, “Why are you ruining my image? I am a dog!” Aditi plays Randeep’s love interest in the film, while he lusts after Sara in the film.

During a visit to the Hindustan Times office on Thursday, the 36-year-old reasoned why the film has got a U/A certificate, a first ever for the Murder series. “Humne toh sab kuch kiya, we have no clue why the film still got a U/A cetificate,” Hooda joked in his signature brazen style and added, “I guess it got a U/A certificate because it has a man between two women.”

While Murder (2004) and Murder 2 (2011) featured actor Emraan Hashmi in the lead, the third in the series has Randeep. So, is he under pressure to live up to the legacy of the brand or to take the mantle from Hashmi? “Not at all! In fact, as correctly pointed out by Bhatt sahab (filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt), the Murder franchisee makes stars and it is not the other way round,” he explained and went on to joke, “I refuse to take the mantle from Mr Hashmi and its certification explains why he is not a part of this film.” Randeep was accompanied by his co-stars Aditi Rao Hydari and Sara Loren during the visit, who were all praises for him.

Speaking about the two women in the film, Randeep said, “If Aditi is a fairytale then Sara would be my fantasy in the film.” Off screen however Randeep confesses to have played the two ladies against each other. “I was the narad muni between them,” he laughed. Randeep will be seen lip-locking with both his co-stars in the film. “Randeep made me do the lip-lock scenes several times saying the camera angle wasn’t right. So, I used to quickly redo my lipstick between the takes and do the retakes,” revealed Sara.
