He is known to perform daredevil stunts in his films, but Akshay Kumar who has leaped from a height of 45 feet for his next film Khiladi 786, says that he does have fear. “There is something called good fear just as our body has good cholesterol, bad cholesterol. Good fear is how you take care of yourself, your safety and ensure that the stunt goes right, nothing happens to you. I do have fear but it’s good fear. I don’t have bad fear.” His family doesn’t mind? “They have faith and they have given up hope,” he says.

The industry has been abuzz about the makers of Talaash looking at a second week in single screens, which may affect Khiladi’s business. However, Akshay rubbishes the news. “There is no clash. We already have 3000 screens booked, which is equivalent to Rowdy Rathore’s screen count,” says the actor, adding that he keeps a tab on the business of his film. “I know everything. What area, how many cinemas, what are the film’s collections, because it is my business and I ought to know about my business and it’s very important for every actor to know.”

He admits that he gets the 'Friday Blues' before a film’s release. “It starts on Friday morning it ends by Sunday evening. The result is out by then and if the film does well, it’s great and I am thankful.” The actor also says that filmmakers should not go overboard with promotions. “You make a film with so much energy, it’s important to do the publicity. People should not go overboard,” he says.

Now father to a two-month-old baby girl says that he spend as much time as he can with the kids. "I have at least 8 hours to spend at home and I spend lots of time with my baby girl and Aarav."
