Actor Jacqueline Fernandez is said to be lending a helping hand for relief operations in Tamil Nadu, which was ravaged by floods last year. Although the state limped back to normalcy eventually, some relief operations are still in progress to help victims rebuild their lives; Jacqueline is backing one such initiative.

According to sources, the actor has joined hands with an NGO to launch a Tamil Nadu Flood Relief Campaign, called Jacqueline Builds.

“As a part of this initiative, funds are being raised to build houses that were damaged during the floods, and to help the victims in various other ways,” says an insider.
Apparently, when a considerable amount is generated, Jacqueline will personally visit Chennai, and overlook the procedure of getting the houses built for the victims.
