
Kangana Ranaut’s film, Queen, directed by Vikas Bahl, which released earlier this year, has gone on to become one of the highest-rated Indian films of all time on the international website, IMDB. With a rating of 8.6 out of 10, it is equal to the iconic 1975 Amitabh Bachchan-Dharmendra-starrer, Sholay (also rated 8.6 on IMDB). “I’m very excited. It is a big deal for me,” says Kangana. Many Bollywood actors had praised Kangana's performance in the film upon its release, Deepika Padukone was one of them. "I have seen Queen and I am jealous of her performance, I think she was outstanding," the 28-year-old had said said at an event.

Deepika had also praised Queen director Vikas Bahl for portraying a woman's emotions so beautifully. "What a beautiful film. I think if you are a woman and have been in a relationship, just the way he has captured the emotion of the girl and the way he has portrayed it, it's one of the best films I have seen in the longest time and it's outstanding".

Queen hit theatres March 7 this year. It also starred Rajkummar Rao and tells the story of a girl who goes for her honeymoon alone and captures her journey of self-discovery. (With inputs from agencies)
