Kareena Kapoor is known to experiment when it comes to her films. Whether it’s playing a prostitute in Talaash (2012) or a village belle in Omkara (2006), the actor has never been afraid to move away from her usual glamorous image.



However, what Kareena hasn’t experimented with so far are her flowing locks.

That is all set to change now, as Kareena, for her next film opposite Emraan Hashmi, has apparently decided to chop off her hair, reveals a source close to the star.



"She will don a short hairstyle, just like Hollywood actor Sharon Stone’s, and will cut her tresses really short to achieve this look. Much to everyone’s surprise, when the look was discussed, Kareena was game for it instantly."



Bollywood act,resses are not known to part with their tresses, with some exceptions such as Kajol in Dushman (1998), Tabu in Hu Tu Tu (1999) and Preity Zinta in Lakshya (2004).

The movie, which is untitled as of now, is a co-production between Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures and Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.

The source says, “Kareena is extremely excited about this venture with Emraan. The role will surprise her fans as it’s extremely experimental.”
