We asked him if his father’s onscreen persona had any impact on his ­school classmates, and he laughed, “Kids were initially scared of my dad. But they soon learnt that it was just an image he was ­playing.”

Bollywood seems to be ­running in his veins, with many of his family ­members being a part of the film industry, including Aashiqui 2 (2013) actor Shraddha Kapoor and veteran actor Padmini Kolhapure. And that makes work all the more fun! “Since my dad has so much experience and now my sister and I are also in the industry, we all discuss work and take each other’s suggestions,” says Siddhanth, who is doing ­movies such as Fattack, Saxxx ki Dukaan.com and Anurag Kashyap’s Ugly. He says that watching movies with family is not an ­ordinary experience. “After watching a movie, we all ­discuss it ... the strengths and ­dialogues,” he says, adding, “If all the aunts are home, then the house becomes a total nautanki. We have a blast.”
