Nagarjuna joins Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt in Bulgaria for Brahmastra. See pics

Nagarjuna, who joined Karan Johar’s Brahmastra, shared new pictures with the film’s stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt and Ayan Mukherji in Bulgaria. His wife Amala was also present.

Looks like Brahmastra shooting schedule in Bulgaria is getting more and more interesting by the day. After Alia’s Instagram story with her girl gang, and boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor, come a few more new pictures. Only these have southern superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni, his pretty wife Amala and director Ayan Mukherji in them as well.

The film’s producer, Karan Johar, welcomed Nagarjuna to Brahmastra as well. Sharing a few pictures, Nagarjuna wrote on Twitter: “Sunny Sunday and a fantastic lunch with the #brahmastra team..we missed you!! @karanjohar.” One picture features Ayan and Ranbir along with Nagarjuna, while another one had Alia and Amala with the three ‘boys’. A third picture all five of them with other crew members.

Karan immediately replied to Nagarjuna’s statement, mentioning how happy he and his team were to have the Telugu superstar onboard Brahmastra.

He wrote: “We are honoured and exceptionally excited to have the one and only @iamnagarjuna doing an extremely “special” role in our film #BRAHMASTRA !! Directed by Ayan Mukerji @SrBachchan @aliaa08 #RanbirKapoor ...thank you sir for your love and your beautiful energy!”

Initially, it was thought that the three-part Brahmastra would have Ranbir, Alia and Amitabh Bachchan. However, looks like the star cast is likely to expand as the inclusion of Nagarjuna shows.

The storyline of Brahmastra is still not clear though it is conjectured to be a superhero film. Ranbir, during promotions of Sanju, revealed to Mid-Day, “It is actually a supernatural romantic fairy tale at heart. Ayan will never make a character that doesn’t have truth to it, or which is unbelievable. It’s too early to talk about the film, but it is something I am terribly excited about.”

In June this year, Amitabh shared pictures of the film’s preparation at his residence where the film’s lead cast and director Ayan were also present. In some pictures, Amitabh can be seen giving a warm hug to both Ranbir and Alia and in another set of pictures, a selfie, he can be seen making faces at the camera, as the trio smile at the camera.
