Not just national award, I was supposed to get all the awards: Kangana Ranaut

While Priyanka Chopra congratulated Kangana Ranaut for her National Award, the Queen actor had said in an earlier interview that Mary Kom got all the other awards because she does not attend award functions.

Kangana Ranaut is set to receive her second National Film Award for her performance in Queen (She got the best supposrting actress for Fashion earlier).

Kangana's Fashion co-star Priyanka Chopra has congratulated the Queen actor for the award. Priyanka tweeted, "I hate losing. But if I had to take a back seat to anyone this year it would be U #KanganaRanaut ! Congratulations!yay Queen!#SmallTownGirls."

However, the Tanu Weds Manu actor does not exactly reciprocate the amicable feelings. Priyanka Chopra in her role as Mary Kom got a lot of awards and appreciation, but actor Kangana Ranaut claims that the awards were meant for her film, Queen. "I was supposed to get all the awards. You think we don’t come to know beforehand?" the actor told an entertainment website. In an interview to an entertainment website 9xe.com, Kangana -- who is known as lady Aamir Khan -- said her absence from the award dos was the reason why she didn't bring home the trophies. She said, "The same applies to those for whom awards don't matter. You can't say why one likes awards. If it thrills someone, let it thrill. I am not here to judge people if they love awards. Anyway, Priyanka has always been open that she loves to attend award functions."Hindustan Times could not independtly verify the report.
