Priyanka Chopra meets Sonali Bendre’s sister-in-law before leaving for the US

Priyanka Chopra met Shrishti Behl before leaving to the US on Saturday.

Priyanka Chopra, who has been busy with arrangements for her engagement to pop singer Nick Jonas and working on Shonali Bose’s Sky is Pink, took time out to meet Sonali Bendre’s sister-in-law Shrishti Behl. Priyanka was seen with her mother Madhu Chopra at Shrishti’s residence. The Baywatch actor left Mumbai later and also shared a photo on her Instagram handle captioned, “Up, Up and away.”

Priyanka has been close to Shrishti who produced Drona, a film starring Priyanka and Abhishek Bachchan. Reports suggest that the actor was checking on Sonali’s health who is undergoing treatment for cancer in New York.

When Sonali had announced her cancer diagnosis, it came as a huge shock to her fans. The actor, however, has stayed strong through her treatment.

Sonali recently wrote about her son Ranveer on Instagram as he turned 13. She wrote, “Ranveeeeer! My sun, my moon, my stars, my sky... Okay, maybe I’m being a bit melodramatic, but your 13th birthday deserves this. Wow, you’re a teenager now... Will need some time to wrap my head around that fact. I can’t tell you enough how proud I am of you... Your wit, your humour, your strength, your kindness, and even your mischief. Happy happy birthday, my not-so-little one. It’s the first one that we’re not together... I miss you terribly. Lots and lots of love always and forever.... biiiiig hug!”
