Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan shared the first song from his upcoming film opposite Parvathy, Qarib Qarib Singlle late Thursday. Titled Khatam Kahani, the song shows the leads embark on a contemporary love story, which begins on an online dating site. They are not aiming for forever love; but will they still get it?
The song is written by Raj Shekhar and sung by the Nooran Sisters.
The song captures the friction and love-hate relationship between the lead pair. The song ends with Yogi (played by Irrfan) saying “Saath jeene maarne wali love story nahi hai humari’. The song seems to capture the Zeitgeist of relationships today.
Khatam Kahani is shot in the picturesque locations of Bikaner, Rishikesh, and Gangtok, where the middle-aged couple discover love and life on their trip that turns out to be a crazy and desi adventure.
Minutes before the song came out, Irrfan Khan tweeted, “Kabhi aapke saath aisa time aaya hai, ke aapne apne partner ko kaha ‘bas ab #JaanLeLuTeri!’?” Sharing the song, he tweeted, “Jaya aur Yogi ki #KhatamKahani .... ya actually shuru ?! Song out now... http://bit.ly/KhatamKahani #parvathy @QQSTheFilm.”
