You know Diwali is here when Bollywood begins throwing lavish bashes every other night. This time, the festival was kicked off by Arpita Khan, Salman Khan’s sister, on Friday in Mumbai.

Arpita, her husband Aayush Sharma and son Aahil hosted the biggest names in the industry in their home. Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif, Karan Johar, Shilpa Shetty and more turned up for the party in their best festive attires. Brothers Salman and Arbaaz Khan and father Salim Khan were also present for the party.

Katrina was the belle of the ball in her lavish red lehenga and a heavy diamond necklace. Shilpa wore a white lehenga and big blue earrings, complimented by a big smile on her face. Her sister Shamita Shetty wore a black and pink sari with chandelier earrings. Athiya Shetty also turned up in a silver dress while actor Daisy Shah wore a shiny pink one.

Karan wore an embroidered achkan while Shah Rukh looked handsome in his simple black, satin kurta pyjama.
