Shahid Kapoor didn't invite me to his wedding: Kareena Kapoor

Kareena Kapoor has revealed that while she has not been invited to Shahid Kapoor's wedding with Mira Rajput, she and Saif Ali Khan wish him luck. Shahid and Mira Rajput will get married in Gurgaon today.

today (July 7) in Gurgaon, has invited his former girlfriend, actor Kareena Kapoor Khan, and her husband Saif Ali Khan.

, however, clarifies that she hasn’t been invited to the wedding. “I wish Shahid well, and I am sure Saif wishes him the same. It (marriage) is a great journey, and a great feeling. It is a moment of happiness for him; don’t turn it into a soap opera,” says Kareena, adding, “We should all understand that, and act a little restrained. I hope the media will do the same. It (Shahid’s wedding) is not a movie. We should just stick to the fact that I wish him nothing but happiness and joy in his married life.”

Asked if such rumours affect her, the actor says, “I think we love to make commercial potboilers, but I prefer to only act in them ... my life isn’t a soap opera,” says Kareena, who is currently in London, UK, on a family vacation.

Earlier, Kareena had said that Shahid had told her about the upcoming wedding. “We both performed at a recent event where he told me that he’s getting married, before he told the media. I’m very happy for him. And I can vouch for marriage being cool,” she was quoted as saying.
