The trailer of Kanagana Ranaut’s next Simran has just come out and it seems like the film that we all have been waiting to see Kangana in after Queen.

Simran is a quirky tale of a carefree woman.

It starts with Kangana aka Simran narrating some poetic lines and dropping a hint that she is not one who can be controlled within physical boundaries. That is just the beginning of an engaging 2:36-minute video.

We get to know Simran who is probably suffering from split personality disorder and is a divorcee. She lives in the US and keeps meeting potential suitors, but none of them actually stay back after getting acquainted to her quirky nature.

Her father wants Simran to lead a certain life, but she gets violent. That probably ends any further conversation.

But before that, we see her in many moods and outfits. All of them point to a certain ‘character flaw’ as she herself cheekily points out.

The film seems totally dependent on Kangana Ranaut and her acting prowess. What films like Katti Batti and Rangoon failed to bring out of Kangana, Simran is likely to explore.

Directed by Hansal Mehta, Simran will hit the screens on September 15, 2017.
