The mood is clearly upbeat and happy. One particular video has Sonam hugging Anand as they both dance to a peppy romantic number. In another video Sonam can be seen dancing with a group of girls. With her hair running loose, hands covered with mehendi, and wearing a pale pink and purple flowing Indian outfit, Sonam makes being a bride-to-be seem like so much fun.

In a fourth video, Sonam can be seen swaying to the track Dil Badaa Beimaan as cousin Mohit Marwah and uncle Sanjay Kapoor join the celebrations.

After weeks of speculation, the star couple confirmed their wedding date last week. While the mehendi ceremony was held on Sunday, the sangeet will take place on Monday (May 7). The wedding is on May 8, followed by a reception in Mumbai. The functions will be held at Bandra Kurla Complex, Bandra Bandstand and The Leela hotel.

It was Sonam’s stylist and fashion designer Pernia Qureshi who played cupid and got the couple together. Anand reportedly proposed to Sonam within a month of their first meeting. While they were dating, neither spoke publicly about being in a relationship. Their Instagram posts, however, spoke volumes about their admiration for each other and pretty much convinced everyone that they were together.

Soon after her wedding, Sonam will fly to Cannes to attend the film festival.
