This is what Rishi Kapoor said when offered a Pakistani film
Rishi Kapoor instead gave the filmmaker some tips on how Pakistani films can do better in India.
While Pakistani actors such as Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan and Ali Zafar have acted in Hindi films, not many stars from Bollywood have been seen in movies made across the border. At the just-concluded Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, Rishi Kapoor revealed that he was offered a role in a Pakistani film recently.

A source says, “He was approached for a major role in the sequel to a Pakistani comedy called Jawani Phir Nai Ani (2015). Film-maker Nadeem Baig has directed it. However, he politely turned down the offer.”
Interestingly, Kapoor also gave the filmmaker some tips on how Pakistani films can do better in India. “He told the director that instead of casting an Indian actor in a Pakistani film, he should focus on getting Pakistani movies more prominence in India. Kapoor believes that if Indian films can work in Pakistan, then Pakistani movies, too, can have an impact on the audience in India,” adds the source.

The senior actor says, “Rather than casting Indian actors in Pakistani movies, it would be a good idea to find a strong story, which makes an impact on Indian cinema.”
