Being an actor is not an easy job. And Tusshar Kapoor can’t agree more. A few days back, the actor was supposed to lift Vidya Balan for a photo shoot of their upcoming film, The Dirty Picture. But the actor’s ordeal began when he was asked to lift Vidya, who has put on several kilos for the role, in a particular manner.
And since Tusshar couldn’t get it right the first few times, he ended up giving over 150 shots of the same pose.The shoot went on for almost three hours. “It took long because we wanted a perfect shot. We had to capture all possible options so that the publicist has multiple choices at the time of releasing the pictures,” says Tusshar, who stars along with Naseeruddin Shah and Emraan Hashmi in the biopic on the life of Southern siren Silk Smitha.
Tusshar had been directed to support Vidya on his chest while sporting a cheerful facial expression. Vidya too, had to appear calm and cool with half her body weight on him. “Since her legs too had to be lifted from the back, so it was a tricky shot. And that’s why we ended up doing some 150 shots of the same pose,” says Tusshar.
But the actor says that his co-star was most co-operative during the entire duration of the shoot, “Vidya was very supportive and never got tired. She even insisted on some peppy music to be in the mood for the shoot,” says Tusshar.
