After Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan, who were roped in to promote tourism for Gujarat and Rajasthan, respectively, comes the news that John Abraham has decided to promote tourism in Arunachal Pradesh.

A source says, “John has a huge connect with the masses, and he has been vocal about his support for the north-eastern states. He even bought a team in a football league in 2015. The game is popular in the state.”

“John has been working towards promoting football nationally as well. He also loves adventure sports and biking, which are the two major attractions in Arunachal Pradesh. So, when the state government wanted to promote tourism, John was an obvious choice,” the source adds.
