Writer Shagufta Rafique is keen to cast Bollywood actor Emraan Hashmi or Ajay Devgn in an action thriller, which will be her directorial debut. Shagufta started her career as a writer with Bhatt camp production company, Vishesh Films with Woh Lamhe and has been part of the company in the capacity of a dialogue writer and screenplay writer for films like, Aawarapan, Raaz 2, Jism 2, Murder 2, Raaz 3, Aashiqui 2 and others.

And now she would be wielding the megaphone. Emraan has been the poster boy of Bhatt camp. And he is the obvious first choice for Shagufta. "He (Emraan) is my first choice for the film. I have told him that I am directing a film and would like to have him in the movie. He is quite ok with it and has asked me to narrate the story. He is not in town... I am waiting for him to come back then will narrate him," Shagufta told PTI.

If things don't work out with Emraan then Shagufta is keen to cast Ajay Devgn or Akshay Kumar. "I want someone who has lot of anger to express on screen. I am also thinking of Ajay Devgn and Akshay Kumar. I feel they portray anger very well on screen. I haven't approached them they are just on my wish list. I will approach these three actors. It is a solo hero and heroine film," she said.
