NEW DELHI: Fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) major ITC on Thursday reported a 10% rise in standalone net profit to ₹2,384.67 crore for the April-June quarter, against ₹2,166 crore a year ago, amid a challenging operating environment and continued pressure on the cigarette industry. The Kolkata-based company also reported an 8.28% increase in net sales to ₹13,156.68 crore during the quarter, compared to ₹12,150.48 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal.
