Castrol India registered a 22 per cent jump in third quarter profit at R117 crore, compared to R96 crore a year ago, the company said on Tuesday. Its net sales were up at R641 crore, as against R565 crore.

Net sales for the automotive segment rose 14 per cent to R548 crore, compared to R481 crore in the year-ago period. Non-autmotive sales rose 9 per cent during the quarter.
The company’s total expenditure rose 11 per cent.
