Fortis to invest 6.5 bn rupees for new beds over 18 months

Fortis Healthcare plans to invest 6.5 billion rupees over the next 12-18 months to add 2,100 new beds, Chief Executive Officer Bhavdeep Singh told a conference call on Wednesday.

The hospitals chain earlier in the day reported a consolidated net profit of 747.8 million rupees on net sales of 3.55 billion rupees for July-Sept.
