"Petrol price has been increased by 32 paise only in Delhi. There is no change in rates at all other places," an Indian Oil Corp (IOC) official said in New Delhi.

The increase in rates was due to withdrawal of VAT exemption in June 2012. "We have, however, increased the price only from today," he said.

Petrol will cost Rs 67.56 per litre in Delhi from on Wednesday.
