Shriram Transport to raise Rs 1,000 cr

Shriram Transport Finance Company, India’s largest commercial vehicle financing firm, on Monday said it plans to raise up to Rs 1,000 crore through a sale of non-convertible debentures of face value of Rs 1,000 each.

“The funds will be used for our various financing activities including lending and investments, to repay existing loans and for business operations including capital expenditure and working capital requirements,” said R Sridhar, managing director, STFC.
