Wipro in deal to buy majority stake in Brazilian co

Country's third-largest software services exporter, Wipro, said on Wednesday it had signed a deal to acquire a majority stake in a Brazil-based hydraulic cylinder manufacturer RKM Equipamentos Hidr ulicos Ltda.

Country's third-largest software services exporter, Wipro, said on Wednesday it had signed a deal to acquire a majority stake in a Brazil-based hydraulic cylinder manufacturer RKM Equipamentos Hidr ulicos Ltda.

Wipro, which mainly focuses on software, said the acquisition would be a part of its infrastructure engineering division, and would be completed during the quarter.

It did not disclose financial details.
