Harley-Davidson has announced that it will not be hiking the price of the X440. This news comes after the government has hiked the GST tax on motorcycles that have a cubic capacity of over 350 cc. Harley-Davidson X440 will continue to be priced between ₹2.40 lakh and ₹2.80 lakh.
Not only this, Harley has also announced that they will be offering Roadside Assistance for free for 2 years and an 8-year of warranty. Having said that, there are a few terms and conditions that the dealerships would be able to better explain to the interested customers.

Harley-Davidson X440 specs
The Harley-Davidson X440, created in partnership with Hero MotoCorp, is positioned as the brand’s most affordable offering worldwide. It is powered by a new 440 cc single-cylinder engine with air- and oil-cooling, delivering 27 bhp and 38 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed transmission. It is a long-stroke motor with a lot of torque on offer from the get-go. It pulls cleanly off the line, the vibrations arrive only in the top-end. The motorcycle features inverted forks at the front and twin rear shock absorbers for suspension, while braking is handled by disc brakes on both ends, supported by standard dual-channel ABS.
The suspension setup is quite decent and handles rough roads well without disturbing the bike. However, the seat is a sore point. It is a bit too stiff which means your backside will develop pain.

Fortunately, there is a dark theme on offer, and there is an ambient sensor too that changes to the dark mode automatically. The instrument cluster shows a decent amount of information as well.

Harley-Davidson offers the X440 in three variants - Denim, Vivid, and S. The Denim is the base variant, whereas the S variant sits on the top of the lineup.
