What the design tells us at first glance

The motorcycle uses a split-seat layout, in line with other KTM RC models. At the rear, it gets an LED taillamp along with LED indicators. A rear tyre hugger is also visible. Like other KTM supersport motorcycles, the RC 160 carries KTM badging on the front fender flairs.

Here’s what the feature list looks like

The instrument cluster on the leaked bike is an LCD unit. When KTM first launched the 160 Duke, it was introduced with an LCD display, with the more advanced 5-inch TFT screen added later. A similar rollout strategy could be followed for the RC 160 as well. The TFT unit, when offered, is expected to be paired with a 4-way switchgear.

Braking duties will be handled by disc brakes at both ends, with the bike offering Supermoto ABS and Road ABS modes. Suspension hardware includes USD forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear.

The engine setup remains familiar

Powering the RC 160 is the same 164.2cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine used in the 160 Duke. The motor produces 18.6 hp and 15.5 Nm of peak torque and is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Tyre sizes are 110/70 R17 at the front and 140/60 R17 at the rear. An official launch timeline and pricing details from KTM are yet to be announced.
