Eight people were killed and nine others injured in a road accident in north Kashmir's Kupwara district, police said on Monday.
A Tata Sumo skidded off the road and rolled down into a deep gorge at Cobra Nallah toll post, in the district resulting in the death of eight passengers and injuries to nine others, said police.

The injured have been shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment and a case has been registered, added police.
