BJP leaders meet CBI officials

A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) delegation met Parbodh Kumar, joint director, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), and KV Chaudhary, member investigation, Central Board of Direct Taxes, at New Delhi and submitted documents regarding the involvement of former railway minister Pawan Kumar Bansal and his family members in various companies.

A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) delegation met Parbodh Kumar, joint director, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), and KV Chaudhary, member investigation, Central Board of Direct Taxes, at New Delhi and submitted documents regarding the involvement of former railway minister Pawan Kumar Bansal and his family members in various companies.

The delegation was led by BJP national secretary Aarti Mehra, senior leader Kirit Somaiya along with Chandigarh unit president Sanjay Tandon and former MP Satya Pal Jain.

The delegation brought into the notice of the joint director that Bansal was having business relations with his sister's son and his brother's son. They also submitted the balance sheet of some companies which proved the business relations among them.

The delegation also submitted the detailed report prepared by the “Pawan Kumar Bansal Scam Exposure Committee”, including the details of companies pertaining to the relatives and family members of Bansal involved in financial irregularities.
