
Body of woman found at Rohtak, gangrape suspected
The local police have recovered a body of a 35-year-old woman, believed to be a migrant worker, near Grain Market under the Shivaji police station here on Sunday.
The police said they have registered a murder case against unidentified persons and sent the body for postmortem.
According to the details, the police got information that a woman body was found half-naked in the bushes behind Grain Market. They reached the spot and took the body in their possession.
Deputy superintendent of police Bijender Singh said they were investigating the case and efforts were being made to identity the victim.
On suspect of gangrape, he said nothing can be ruled out at this point and things would be revealed only after the autopsy report.
