The conflict over the joining date of one of the re-employed teachers, Prem Nath, was also resolved, after he agreed to give his joining report from Monday, April 15 onwards.

Earlier, Nath wanted his joining on extension of re-employment be considered from October last year. The department, after getting information on the case from the university's establishment branch in February, had said that Nath's joining could only be considered from February and further only after he actually starts taking classes.

GK Chatrath, dean law faculty, said, “The issue has been resolved and Jaswal's resignation was rejected. Nath has also agreed to join as in accordance with the department's decision in his case. All is sorted.” Jaswal refused to comment on the matter.
