City college principal writes letter of complaint to varsity COE

A city college principal has written to Panjab University complaining that the History and Culture of Punjab examination paper was not as per the syllabus guidelines.

A city college principal has written to Panjab University complaining that the History and Culture of Punjab examination paper was not as per the syllabus guidelines.

Principal Bhushan Kumar Sharma of Goswami Ganesh Dutta Sanatan Dharma College, Sector-32, has stated in his letter to Panjab University controller of examinations , Parvinder Singh that the of BA-II year examination of History and Culture of Punjab which was held on Saturday was not as per the guidelines of syllabus of PU. “A number of students complained to me about the same. You are requested to look into the matter and either have a re-examination as per syllabus or compensate the students by giving them grace marks” , she stated.

Students said in the unit-1 of examination, there were two questions of nine marks each whereas as per the guidelines only a single question (with options ) with eighteen marks of weight age was supposed to be given.
