Haryana IPS officer, Sharad Kumar has been appointed as Director General of National Investigation Agency. He is a 1979 batch IPS officer presently posted as Director General of Prisons in Haryana. He is the second IPS officer from Haryana to head the counter terrorism law enforcement agency.
